Made of 100% 316 stainless steel material, Smith’s flush mount in-gunnel rod holders feature an extra-large, low profile cap which enhances the appearance of any boat. They have a super tough cast stainless steel 1/2’’ gimbal bar designed to hold up to the punishment of down riggers or heavy tackle. A white vinyl liner protects rods and is keyed with the gimbal so the liner stays in place. Standard 70 Series models have a tube depth of 9", and I.D. of 1-5/8". They have a choice of 0°, 15° or 30° cap angle in highly polished silver finish, with a heavy duty 100% welded tube-to-cap joint which will not break out.
